Do I need a visa to travel to India?

Yes, if you hold a foreign passport, you will need an eVisa. Don’t worry, it isn’t that complicated. You just need to fill out an online application at least 4 days in advance of travel and pay $25. See https://www.cgisf.gov.in/page/e-visa/

How can I get a local SIM card?

We highly recommend getting a SIM card from the Airtel booth at DEL airport before you leave. Many services in India require an Indian phone number, so having one will make your life easier. You can alternatively use roaming / a roaming eSIM, but you won't get an indian number.

Do I need cash?

We would recommend getting some cash from an ATM. Credit cards are accepted at most big establishments, but foreign cards can be hit or miss.

When is the latest I can arrive?

The first main wedding function will be ~11am on Wed, Dec 3rd, so plan on landing at DEL by ~7am on December 3rd to make it to the venue on time. We still recommend coming early to acclimatize. See the example itinerary tab.

Do I need to bring gifts / get something from a registry?

No, your presence is a gift ♥️

Do I need to bring Indian clothes?

On the main page, we have listed some suggested attire, but Western Formals are totally ok! If you arrive early in Delhi, here are shops we recommend: 1. Manyavar & Mohey (for men and women's ethnic Indian wedding attires) 2. Kalki / Aza for women’s wear 3. Tasva / Twamev for men’s wear

Do I need to book hotels?

We will handle your accommodation for 2 nights (Dec 3 and 4). If you wish to stay in India longer, we have recommended hotels listed on the Travel tab.

What if I want to explore more of India outside of Delhi/Agra?

India is a wonderful place with a lot of history and there are many diverse destinations! We have provided contacts for a travel agency in the Travel tab if you need any help organizing additional tours. If not, feel free to travel on your own before or after the wedding
